Dollar Dog Savings Bank Survey Results
The survey conducted via Paw Prints concerning the creation of a Dollar Dog savings bank has been completed. Many of our Dollar Dog friends replied and provided valuable feedback. Thank you all!
The winner of the DD Coin Bank survey drawing for a $25.00 Staples Gift Card is:
Leigh Shupik, Century Heritage FCU
Hurray, Leigh!!!

Here are the results of the survey - MP will be working on a new custom savings bank featuring our favorite furry savings friend.
1) Do you think a plastic savings bank, shaped and colored like Dollar Dog would be a good idea for your credit union?
2) What size do you think is the best size for this bank?
- Same size as the plush dog, about 8 inches tall
3) How much do you believe the new plastic Dollar Dog savings bank should cost to purchase for your credit union’s members?
4) How would the credit unions use this new bank? Ideas for implementation:
- Use as an incentive in the savings program, they save up “points” or DD coins to purchase the bank from the Dollar Dog store or display.
- They would be distributed to promote the program and increase awareness of the new program at the credit union.
- They would be used in a contest to increase participation in the event Youth Day festivities giveaways.
- “Guess the amount of coins” in the bank contest for event at the branch, increase awareness of the program and participation by young people.
- Display in the branches at each teller station and place a sign on the banks letting visiting members know about the program and how the children in their lives can learn to save money at their credit union.
