Chetco Reaches Milestone


Micheal Armstrong, CFCU's 25,000th member.

BROOKINGS, OR - Chetco Federal Credit Union has reached a milestone with the commemoration of the 25,000th member. Micheal Armstrong, seven years old, is a first grade student at Blanco School in Port Orford. A celebration to honor Micheal, a member of the Bandon Branch of CFCU, was hosted by Credit Union leaders on Thursday, February 9th at 11:00. His entire classroom was treated to a pizza lunch and fun prizes. Dollar Dog made an appearance to entertain the children. Micheal decided to join the Credit Union because he wanted to take part in the fun new kids’ club activities. Micheal enjoys fishing with his dad and CFCU provided a gift certificate that will help him do just that as well as a deposit to his Dollar Dog savings account.
